Vinyl Floors

Sweep regularly to cut down on the need for washing, and occasionally use a mop lightly dampened with water only. To remove visible grime, add some mild detergent to the water, then rinse with clear water.

Marble

Since marble is extremely porous, it stains easily. Don't even think of using a marble surface in a kitchen or bathroom until it's been treated with a penetrating stone sealer. A marble tabletop on which you serve food should be sealed as well. Depending on the wear and tear a marble surface undergoes, you may need to re-apply the sealer as frequently as every six months to ensure the surface remains resilient to stains.
Wipe down marble counters, tabletops, and walls rountinely with a clean cloth or a sponge dipped in warm water and mild liquid detergent or stone soap, and dry the surface with a soft cloth. Be careful not to use too much soap, and rinse thoroughly, because soap can leave a film on marble and cause streaking.

Ceramic Tile

We recommend mopping floors with a solution of mild detergent and water. Buffing with a chamois cloth will restore shine to the tiles. Use a commercial tile cleaner for heavy-duty cleaning, but make sure it's safe to use on ceramic surfaces. Or, wipe tiles and grout with a solution of bleach and four parts water. You can also use vinegar in place of bleach. When working with bleach, make sure the area is well ventilated and wear gloves and old clothes.

Apology

Hey, sorry I haven't been on here in a while. We've been very busy lately. Which is probably a good thing considering that new construction has slowed down. Don't forget that we also clean commercial and residential properties. Our new addition to the list we do is hotels. We just recently added Cambria Suites in Green, Ohio as a customer.

Candlesticks

An easy way to remove wax from candlesticks made of silver and other metals is to place them in the freezer until the wax is hardened. Then, using a plastic spatula, carefully scrape off the wax. To remove wax from a candlestick made of wood, glass, or plastic, point a hair dryer at the wax and blot with paper toweling as it melts. Be careful not to overheat wood as it can crack.

Cabinets

Greasy fingerprint marks seem to appear like magic on kitchen cabinets. Fortunately, it's easy to remove them. For painted wood, metal, laminated-plastic, and wood-grain-vinyl surfaces, use a solution of dishwashing liquid and warm water. You can also use an all-purpose cleaner, but read the label carefully and test it first on the inside of a door or another inconspicuous spot to make sure it doesn't cause colors to fade or run. Rinse with a second cloth dipped in warm water, and dry with a third cloth.
